I was just looking at your site, reading all the testimonies of friends. There are just some days, where you need to remember all of God's great works.
I'm writing this to just let people know how things are going in my life and at school. This summer was great. I know people at school were afraid the changes we had made in our lives would not spread to our summers. That is not what I found, though other people may have had a different experience.
This summer, I was working a lot, and found many opportunities to talk to my coworkers about spiritual things. I don't think I ever actually "witnessed" per say, but it was incredible how much I got to say. I'm very excited, because 2 of my coworkers are actually coming to my first volleyball game; I'm praying that they'll enjoy it a lot, and want to come back for other games!
Every Monday this summer, a group of us got together for a Bible study. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it very often, but when I did go, it was a great blessing. Prayer meetings are starting back up tomorrow morning, and I know of at least a small group of us who will consistently show up. Please pray that more dedicated people will come every day.
This school year is going to be incredibly different than last year. We lost so many leaders when the seniors graduated last year. I'm realizing the importance of stepping up to the plate in leadership, and the need for just being a good example to the younger students.
Please pray that our school will not fall back into apathy and disrespect. Also, for the people who still need to make decisions, that we would be a good influence on them; I have such a desire for God to continue working in lives of the students.
