You may be wondering what is happening today at Calvary. Is there any ongoing work of God? I’m delighted to tell you that God is still doing a great work, though the work at the present is not so visible.
First, there is a great spiritual warfare occurring. I’ve seen the battle in my own life. The enemy is fighting very hard, almost desperately. That’s an indicator to me that there must be something worth combating and maybe something around the corner the enemy is trying to stop.
Today, I was having difficulty speaking with a throat problem (laryngitis). I saw first hand how God worked through my weakness and gave great grace. The students at Calvary are tender towards spiritual things. Today at Calvary, it was a joy to be in the work of the ministry.
Yesterday, had a different tone. I ended the day crying out to God for help. In many other situations so far this year, I have seen great opposition. In each one, God has given overcoming grace!!!
Second, a small group of students are still meeting each morning for a short time of Scripture reading and prayer. This is student-led and student-initiated. Today was one of the larger number of students who gathered to pray.
Thanks for looking at this update. Would you continue to pray for the students at Calvary? And the faculty? I especially need your prayers.
